Had a very relaxing holiday in Oz. There is something about having sun on your back to start to make you relax and take a chill pill.
Many highlights - saw whales several times really close into shore off sunshine beach - within 1 km off the beach -on the sunshine coast and got attacked by a magpie several times in 3 minutes when Ali & I were out riding our bikes another day.
Also went to the Noosa jazz festival - great afternoon - don't know much about jazz but liked most of it and had a great afternoon drinking wine in the sponsors bar courtesy of our hosts at Coral Beach.
Waihi Beach Lodge is a luxury Boutique Bed and Breakfast Lodge two hours south east of Auckland or 40 minutes north of Tauranga just off State Highway 2 (Pacific Coast Highway) at Waihi Beach.
